Brano crudo e energico, con chitarre potenti e un ritornello più che orecchiabile, Pretty Face anticipa ‘Britpop’, album in uscita il prossimo 6 febbraioper Capitol Records (pre-order).

Pretty Face segue Spies, un indie pop con chitarre orecchiabili scritto con Karl Brazil e Owen Parker, e Rocket, con l’assolo di Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), un inno rock con batteria martellante.
“Volevo creare l’album che avrei voluto scrivere e pubblicare dopo aver lasciato i Take That nel 1995. Era l’apice del Britpop e un’epoca d’oro per la musica britannica. Ho lavorato con alcuni dei miei idoli su questo album: è crudo, ci sono più chitarre ed è un disco ancora più energico e potente del solito. C’è un po’ di ‘Brit’ e sicuramente anche un po’ di ‘pop’. Sono immensamente orgoglioso di questo progetto e non vedo l’ora che i fan lo ascoltino. Non vedo l’ora, inoltre, di eseguire uno o due brani dal vivo durante il mio prossimo tour ‘BRITPOP’, che naturalmente partirà dal Regno Unito.”
